Fundraising insights

We're big believers in being data-informed. It's a good buzzword, and it's a little different to data-driven. We think the best decisions come from a mix of data insights, creativity and intuition.

For a long time, we've wanted to dive into data on fundraising across Raisely and draw out some key lessons. Things which will help fundraisers make more data-informed choices when running fundraising campaigns.

At the end of 2019, we did that. We ran models over peer-to-peer fundraising profiles, looked into donation amounts and frequencies, and put together some benchmarks from the data we had across all the campaigns on Raisely.

You'll learn:

  • How much do people give, and when?
  • How much do people raise, and how many people donate to them?
  • What are the factors that make a fundraiser successful?
  • How do things like teams, blog posts and self donations impact a campaign?
  • What do we know so far from A/B testing, and how should you run testing on your campaigns?
