Horses for Mental Health (HMH) embarked on a mission to raise awareness and critical funds for mental health services that incorporate horses.
However, the complexity of managing a peer-to-peer fundraising campaign involving multiple charity partners presented a significant challenge. HMH required a platform that could handle their unique needs, provide ease of use for a diverse group of fundraisers, and maximise the funds raised by reducing platform fees.
HMH turned to Raisely to meet these needs. The platform's accessible pricing was a game-changer, allowing more money to flow directly to the charity partners, many of whom operate on limited budgets. This was especially crucial for organisations where every dollar counts toward supporting essential programs like scholarships, horse care, and facilitator training.
We were using another platform, and one of the biggest issues was the fees associated with it. Raisely was a great platform for that. It was money going directly back to our organisations so that they could support and increase programs.
Raisely's user-friendly interface was another critical factor in the campaign's success. HMH's fundraising ambassadors, ranging from 17 to 70+ years old, found the platform easy to navigate, reducing the need for extensive technical support. This accessibility empowered more participants to engage fully in the fundraising efforts, leading to a significant increase in funds raised.
Central to the campaign’s effectiveness was the ability to create tailored email journeys. HMH used Raisely to communicate effectively with donors, fundraising ambassadors, and charity partners, providing them with the necessary tools and encouragement to reach their goals. Additionally, Raisely’s platform allowed HMH to host a centralised resource page, where partners could access training videos, templates, and other vital materials, streamlining the entire process.
As a result of these combined efforts, HMH saw exponential growth in their campaign outcomes, tripling the funds raised from $111,000 to $422,000 in just one year, all while expanding their charity partners from 50 to 80.
Horses for Mental Health (HMH) faced challenges due to the limitations of their existing software in managing their peer-to-peer fundraising activities. They needed a cost-effective platform to accommodate their unique campaign structure, involving 80+ nonprofit charity partners, and to mobilise a diverse group of fundraisers, ranging in age and technical ability.
With Raisely's user-friendly platform, HMH was able to triple their campaign revenue. By centralising resources, engaging participants through tailored email journeys, minimising platform costs, HMH increased the funds transferred to their charity partners.
